First, as a general matter of business, anyone who is reading my story about 1900 colonial Bombay, I work on the story from online, so I am constantly adding to it and the link is always good. Please offer me feedback whether you love it or hate it so I know what to fix! (Also, if you spot me in the document while you're reading, you can actually chat with me from there.)
Anyway, onto the true purpose of the post: The lovely (Li)Mette passed this on...
I hope I do this correctly, but links to my favorite posts that fit certain categories:
Now part of the deal with this post is that I'm supposed to pass the award on to seven other bloggers. Well, I don't even know that seven bloggers will look at this post, so please feel free to join in the fun if you feel so inclined!

Most beautiful piece...
I find it hard to consider my blogging work particularly beautiful, perhaps because I generally pour my heart and soul into creative writing works. But as far as what I put much effort into, I turn to my discussion of Lagaan's colonial themes (beautiful in a thought-provoking way, I'd hope) and (on my other, former blog) my farewell to college via 3 Idiots, Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara — which evidently so captured college that even when it was pared down to a printed column format, it really resonated with readers.

Most helpful piece...
Probably Mango's Guide to Finding Bollywood and All Things Desi in New York.

Most popular piece...
That'd be Veer-Zaara. By far. Like, wow. (Unless you want to harken back to my newspaper blog, on which an Aishwarya Rai birthday post got nearly 10,000 hits in a week.) And the most comments is from a discussion of anticipated 2011 films.

Most controversial piece...
Evidently calling this book used in college courses imbecilic was not a popular choice...

Most surprisingly successful piece...
This post calling Vivah bland (totally was) is the fifth-most popular on the blog. I'm also surprised at how popular the Veer-Zaara post is, considering I called it mediocre.
Most underrated piece...
Probably this piece I did that actually crunched all of the numbers to show how popular SRK is, comparatively speaking, with U.S. audiences.

Most pride-worthy piece...
I'd probably have to go back to the Lagaan post for that because it incorporates much of the subject of my literary studies meeting Bollywood. Now part of the deal with this post is that I'm supposed to pass the award on to seven other bloggers.
